Shabab Al-Ahly club was crowned champion of the U-21 Youth Cup, after defeating Al-Bataeh team 2-1, in the final match, the day before yesterday, at Al-Hamriya Club Stadium.

The two goals of Shabab Al-Ahly were scored by player Mohamed Youssef Ateeq, while the only goal for Al-Bataeh was scored by Komlan Emmanuel.

Member of the Board of Directors of the Football Association, Chairman of the Competitions Committee, Ahmed Youssef bin Darwish, crowned Al-Ahly youth team players and the technical and administrative staff with the championship cup and gold medals, as well as handing silver medals to members of Al-Bataeh team.

Shabab Al-Ahly team started the tournament by winning 5-0 over Al-Madam Club in the first round, then beating Dibba team 5-2 in the semi-finals, before defeating Al-Bataeh in the final.

It is noteworthy that this is the fourth championship achieved by Al-Shabab Al-Ahly Club during the current sports season in the competitions of the age groups, where it was crowned as a champion in the U-14 League (First Category), the U-17 Youth League (First Category), and the U-21 Youth League.
