Mike Tyson is considered one of the greatest heavyweight boxers of all time.

He is still the youngest (20 years) ever to win a world heavyweight belt, and won his first 19 professional matches by knockout, twelve of them already in the first match.

Would fly to Florida

But the 55-year-old's life has also been fraught with scandals, including three years in prison after a rape conviction.

And now it seems that he has been involved in a new scandal.

The American site TMZ last night published a video showing Tyson feeding repeated blows to a fellow passenger on a plane that was to leave San Francisco for Florida, on Wednesday night local time.

"Blow to the face"

According to a witness that TMZ spoke to, Tyson set out to take a picture with the fellow passenger, and that he then continued to talk to and gesture towards Tyson, which one of the videos that TMZ has confirms.

But in the end, Tyson was saddened and asked the man to calm down.

When he did not, the boxing legend is said to have started fighting him.

According to TMZ, it was about repeated blows to the face, but in the video it is not possible to clearly see where the repeated blows took.

Must have been arrested

According to a witness, Tyson must have left the plane "seconds" after the fight, and in a video the other man is seen to be bloody in the forehead.

Tyson and his team have not commented on the incident, but San Francisco police confirm to both TMZ and ESPN that they were called to San Francisco airport, and that they arrested two people, but do not confirm identities.

Comeback 2020

They also confirm that a person has been cared for, for "non-life-threatening injuries".

Mike Tyson made a comeback in 2020, in a showdown against Roy Jones Jr.

Recently, there have been rumors of a new comeback, against Youtube star Jake Paul.
