On Tuesday, Norrköping Basketsverige shocked when they defeated Luleå with 80-77 away after a thrilling event.

The loss was Luleå's first at home in a year and many probably thought they would bounce back just in time for the second Swedish Championship final in Norrköping.

They did not.

Instead, we got to see Norrköping start the match at a furious pace.

After five minutes of play, they had snatched a 14-2 lead and even though Luleå improved a little, they were never close to catching up with that lead.

At half time, the score was 49-34.

- Luleå has not been this big during the whole season and it will be fun to see how they handle this in the second half, said SVT's expert Nick Rajacic at the end of the second period.

In the second half, Luleå rose slightly and scored points after points, but they never came closer than a nine-point deficit.

The final result was written to 96-82 and thus Norrköping now has three chances to salvage its first Swedish Championship gold in nine years.

- It is a fantastic start that no one had expected from us even if we ourselves had a little faith in it, says Norrköping's Kate Oliver to SVT Sport.

However, Luleå's Brooke McCarty does not seem too worried despite a 2-0 deficit in matches.

- We have to stick to the match plan and play better defense, but there are things that can be fixed for the next match, she says to SVT Sport.
