A fine on the Syrian Al-Fatwa club and depriving it of its fans until the end of the season

The temporary committee charged with running the affairs of the Syrian Federation announced, in a statement, the imposition of a fine on Al-Fatwa Club of one and a half million Syrian pounds, and the club’s fans were prohibited from attending its matches until the end of the season.

The statement of the temporary committee came, after reviewing the report of the referee and the observer of the match that took place last Tuesday at Al-Fayha Stadium in Damascus for the eighth round of the return leg of the Syrian Premier League, and ended with Jableh’s victory with a score of “2-1”, in a match that was marked by objections and collective cursing by the Fatwa fans. The staff must referee, and break the seating in the stadium and throw them on the field, in addition to empty bottles and stones, during the match stop in the 37th minute, and repeat the same thing after the end of the first half, before one of the Fatwa fans tried to insult and beat the match referee.

The statement of the temporary committee said: “The Executive Committee in Damascus assesses the damage caused by the cracking by the Fatwa fans until the club is fined its value, and obliges the club to pay all the previous financial fines incurred by it and issued by the Disciplinary Committee of the Syrian Football Association, and set a date The maximum payment is until the seventh of next May, provided that the aforementioned club will be suspended from participating in the Cup competition in the event of non-payment.


And the statement continued, "It was decided to stop the Fatwa administrator Abdullah Ramadan from accompanying his team or being on the field and where the reserve players sit until the end of the current season."

The results of the round resulted in Jableh, with a score of 30 points, snatching sixth place from Al-Fatwa, which fell to seventh place with 29 points, while the holder of the title of the last two editions, Tishreen Club, occupies the top spot in the Syrian Premier League with 53 points, a comfortable difference from its follower Al-Wathba, who has a balance of 45 points.
