According to the China Wushu Association, the International Organization for Standardization ISO/TC83/SC6 Wushu Technical Committee recently sent an email to the "Technical Specification for Taijiquan Basic Movements" developed and submitted by the Wushu Sports Management Center of the State Sports General Administration. Five international standards were voted on and will enter the proposal stage.

The Chinese Wushu Association said that this marks another major breakthrough in the standardization of Wushu items, and has very important practical and far-reaching significance.

  It is understood that the Wushu Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sports of the People's Republic of China in recent years has taken the concept of innovation and development as its purpose, vigorously inherited and promoted the traditional national culture, and actively explored the road of international standardization of Wushu. Organize relevant units and experts to develop the standardization of equipment, clothing and movement techniques for Wushu projects, so as to promote the internationalization process of relevant standards of Chinese Wushu projects.

  It is reported that after unremitting efforts, the two standardization projects of "Wushu Taiji Suit" and "Wushu Taiji Sword" have been recognized by the International Organization for Standardization, which is a milestone.

Subsequently, another martial arts standard item of "Wushu Sanda Head Protector" was approved by the International Organization for Standardization.

  The Chinese Wushu Association said that this series of Wushu standardization projects have been recognized by the International Organization for Standardization, which is of great significance to the development, external promotion and industrial development of Wushu projects.

At the same time, it also reflects the achievements of China's participation in the formulation of international rules and fills the gap in the industry.

The five international standards of "Technical Specifications for Basic Movements of Taijiquan" were voted through, which will play a positive role in promoting the international standardization of movement techniques in Wushu Taijiquan.
