The Manchester United midfielder was injured after less than 10 minutes during the trip to Liverpool on Tuesday in a late game of the 30th day of the Premier League.

Holder, the world champion seemed embarrassed for a few minutes when he left the field limping, without any particular shock that could explain the injury.

The double for Salah

He was replaced by Jesse Lingard, when the score was already 1-0 for Liverpool, after a goal from Luis Diaz in the 5th minute.

A few minutes later, Mohamed Salah added a second goal (2-0, 22nd).

The rest of the match was also one-sided: Sadio Mané hit the nail on the head in the 67th minute then Mohamed Salah scored twice (85th, 4-0).

It remains to know the exact nature of his injury.

In the meantime, with this new visit to the infirmary, the French international is having a complicated end to the season.

Whistled by some of his club's supporters during the last match at Old Trafford, his contract with the Red Devils ends in June.

The opportunity to turn the page after a year marked by irregular performances and a long absence due to injury.
