Due to the problem that the Nippon Badminton Association did not announce the clothes of former employees of about 6.8 million yen, the association established a third-party committee by an outside lawyer at the request of the JOC = Japanese Olympic Committee.

The association grasped it three years ago, but 11 directors at that time covered the entire amount at private expense

This problem was managed by a former employee who was in charge of accounting at the Nippon Badminton Association from October 2018 to March 2019 in cash. From the prize money of the tournament, I was wearing about 6.8 million yen in total several times.

The association knew the facts three years ago, but 11 directors at the time did not make the full compensation and publicize it at their own expense.

Also, in 2019, the person in charge applied for the subsidy with a wrong interpretation, and it was pointed out that about 230,000 yen was an illegal application.

The association first announced these issues on the 25th of last month, revealing that it submitted an investigation report to the JOC last November.

However, the JOC pointed out that the content was insufficient, and requested the establishment of a third-party committee.

The association met an extraordinary board meeting on the 16th of this month to set up a new third-party committee, selecting three outside lawyers as members.

The third-party committee will investigate issues such as clothing issues and the association's response.
