Al-Ahly complains about Khaled Al-Ghandour .. accusations of inciting the Moroccan fans of Raja

Al-Ahly's board of directors announced that it had filed a complaint with the Supreme Council for Media Regulation against the journalist Khaled Al-Ghandour.

The club stated in a press statement that the complaint will be due to the posts it makes through its official account on "Facebook", noting that they are all unreal, aimed at inciting Moroccan Raja fans against the Al-Ahly team.

The club explained: "In his complaint, Al-Ahly demands that the necessary legal measures be taken regarding Al-Ghandour and what he is doing to stir up sedition between the Egyptian and Moroccan fans and create an unpleasant atmosphere around the match."

He added, "It is not the first time that he performs these actions when Al-Ahly's confrontations with some Arab teams, as it happened when Al-Ahly met with Esperance of Tunisia in the Champions League final in 2018, as well as when Al-Ahly met his brother Al-Hilal of Sudan in the group stage 2020."

Al-Ahly will travel to Morocco on Tuesday to play the return match in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, scheduled for next Friday, at the Mohammed V complex.

Al-Ahly won the first leg with two goals against a goal in the match that was held at Al-Ahly Al-Salam Stadium.

On the other hand, Al-Ahly sent a letter to the African Union earlier to warn against overcharging before confronting Raja.
