The match in the Brazilian Third Division, between Vitoria and Floresta, witnessed a wonderful goal in the way of former Brazilian star Roberto Carlos, who scored against France.

A video clip, published by the club's account on Twitter, showed the left-back of Floresta Fabio Alves, a direct free kick near the midfield circle, in a strange way that seemed to be against the laws of physics.

Alves hit the ball from a distance and directly towards the goal, where the ball rotated in the same way as Roberto Carlos's famous shot, which he scored against France in the mid-nineties of the last century, to enter the goalkeeper's net, who could not help but watch it enter his own goal.

The club commented on the goal via Twitter in a tweet, saying, "This was the goal that gave us victory in last night's match. The goal was scored by our left-back Fabio Alves. Let's go Florista."

The goal - which has achieved more than 600,000 views so far - grabbed attention around the world, as platform pioneers nominated it for the Puskas Prize this year.

Florista finished the match with this goal, to achieve his second win in a row, occupying fourth place with 6 points and goal difference from the lead, while Vitoria ranked 18th without any points.
