Ahmed Mortada Mansour: Zamalek has a lot of money.. We collected half a billion pounds


Zamalek board member Ahmed Mortada Mansour confirmed that "Al-Abyad" has a lot of money, indicating that a team can contract with any distinguished player with the highest deals. 


Ahmed Mortada said on Ontime Sports: “There is a lot of money in Zamalek.” 


He continued, "Zamalek will have the largest player contracts in Egypt, and any distinguished player will buy it from his club or sign with him if his contract is expired."


He added: "Work leads to obtaining funds and working sincerely and scientifically within the system increases the club's financial resources."


He explained, "We signed contracts with 3 banks worth 400 million pounds, and we won an electrification case worth nearly 30 million pounds, in addition to the rest of the value of Mustafa Mohamed's deal. Thus, Zamalek will collect, in a short period, nearly half a billion pounds."


He added, "In two months, we spent about 35 million pounds on hall games only."



And he concluded: “We paid about 70% of the value of the players’ contracts in the futsal games, and in general, the financial matters in Zamalek are going well.”



He continued, "Zamalek had the three largest contracts for football players in Africa, Tariq Hamed, Ashraf Bencharki, and Ferjani Sassi before his departure. Zamalek also had the largest contracts in handball within the continent for the duo Yahya Al-Dara and Ahmed Al-Ahmar, and the same thing in basketball."



"Next season, there will be an account for all team games in the club," he stressed.



And he concluded his statements, “All Zamalek’s needs for new deals have been identified and will be completed by the end of the season.”
