Häcken and Gothenburg came to the city derby with a full pot, but only Blåvitt leaves the rival meeting with a perfect start to the season.

At Häcken's home arena, Gothenburg won 2-0.

Where the management goal came early.

After a corner, Marcus Berg passed to attacking colleague Oscar Vilhelmsson who poked in 1-0 from close range, the 18-year-old's first goal of the season.

- Good pass from "Mackan", so just hit it on a touch.

So it's nice, says the goal scorer to Discovery + during the half-time break.

In the second half, the goal scorer was replaced early, and replaced by Gustaf Norlin.

And the substitute arranged a penalty a minute later, Johan Hammar stopped him in the penalty area.

The team captain stood at the penalty spot, but Berg pushed the penalty over and missed the opportunity to increase to 2-0 and set his third goal of the season.

But 2-0 came later in the 45th.

Hosam Aiesh scored the goal that gave the end result, and the victory to Gothenburg.

The first against Häcken since 2019.

Blåvitt has now for the first time since 1994 opened the Allsvenskan with three wins in a row.

Then the club won five straight games, which is a club record.
