It looked quite comfortable for FC Barcelona who played 1-1 in the first meeting in Frankfurt but in the return at home at Camp Nou, where the Germans had to buy 5000 tickets in advance, up to 30,000 Eintracht Frankfurt fans showed up and took over the arena in some sections which looked like white walls.

Not only did the large number of Germans shock in the stands, but on the pitch Barcelona ended up in a 0-3 deficit.

It was twelve minutes of extra time, mostly because the referee's radio communication stopped working, and both of Barcelona's reductions came in extra time.

Barcap President: Embarrassing for the club

Ahead of Monday's league match against Cadiz at the Camp Nou, some of the fans are planning a protest action against the club management.

The group Nostra Ensenya accuses the club of having humiliated them and put them in danger.

The club's president Joan Laporta later admits that what happened was embarrassing for the club and has appointed an investigation, according to AP.

These are probably season ticket holders who sold their tickets on to the German fans who took over the streets of Barcelona and celebrated their team's advancement long after the final whistle.
