Tomokazu Harimoto of table tennis has joined the German team and will participate in the European Champions League next season.
Harimoto, who won the bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics men's team, updated his Twitter on the 15th and announced that the German team will participate in the European Champions League next season.
Harimoto commented, "I am very excited about my first overseas league! I am grateful to the team for giving me a wonderful opportunity! I will do my best to win with my wonderful teammates!"
Harimoto has played for Kinoshita Meister Tokyo in the T-League, and last month the team won their third victory for the first time in two seasons.
