The decision to withdraw Al-Wahda came due to his objection to a number of successive decisions of the international referee, Muhammad Al-Abdullah, beginning with the objection to the validity of the penalty kick that was calculated for Tishreen in the 25th minute, from which Nasuh Nakadli scored the goal of the team’s advance, followed by the 27th minute that Al-Wahda demanded a penalty kick in their favour. After team player Qusai Habib was subjected to roughness inside the Tishreen penalty area, the referee demanded to continue the game, after which Tishreen uttered an attack in the same minute, during which he obtained a second penalty kick, which was enough to anger the players and fans of Al-Wahda, before the board of directors of the Damascus club took their decision to withdraw.


Al Wahda Club issued a statement, which was published on the club’s website on the social networking site “Facebook”, in which it said: “The decision not to complete the match came after a series of clear refereeing errors and controversial cases, in which the decisions were in favor of the opposing team. Continuing,” adding that “the decision to withdraw is due to Al Wahda’s desire to avoid more congestion and public anger in the stands,” and in order to preserve the safety of all those on the field

Despite the withdrawal of Al-Wehda, Tishreen maintained the top spot in the league with 47 points, awaiting a decision on the outcome of its match with Al-Wehda, two points ahead of its pursuer Al-Wathba, who fell to his home and in front of his fans in front of his guest Al-Jaish with a goal without a response.


It is noteworthy that the last round witnessed the match between Al-Ahly Aleppo and its guest Al-Wathba stopped in the 70th minute in protest of the arbitration decisions, before the match was repeated in full last Tuesday, during which Al-Ahly Aleppo succeeded in winning a clean three.
