Angry Olympique Lyon fans tried to storm their team's stadium after the European Football League was knocked out after the loss - yesterday, Thursday - 3-0 against West Ham United.

Dozens of fans pushed security barriers, but stadium security stood in the way after the end of the match, after losing 4-1 in the total score against the English team.

The French first division witnessed many cases of fan riots, and the Lyon match against Olympique de Marseille in December was canceled after fans threw a bottle at Marseille's Dimitri Payet.

Points were deducted from Nice after a riot against Marseille last August when fans clashed with the visiting team's players.

The situation was repeated in the confrontation with Lance and Lille at the summit of northern France in September, and the start of the second half of that match was delayed after the fans exchanged projectiles, and then some people stormed the stadium, which led to the intervention of riot police.
