Al-Hikma withdraws from the Lebanon Basketball Cup

The management of Al-Hikma Club decided to withdraw from the Lebanon Basketball Cup competition, for the 2021 and 2022 season, and not to play the match scheduled for the team tomorrow, Wednesday, against the defending champion, Dynamo Lebanon, within the final price round of the competition.

And the Lebanese newspaper An-Nahar said: “For the second time in less than 48 hours, Al-Hikma lost with a score of “20-0” as a result of the decision to withdraw from the matches, after the first came against the Beirut sportsman in the twentieth stage of the league championship, in a match that stopped before the end of the third quarter. After a second and 7 tenths of a second, following clashes between some of the sports fans and the security forces, the matter developed into a large number of fans entering the stadium and disrupting the match for more than an hour, before the wisdom administration refused to complete it, on the pretext of protecting the players and ensuring their safety, which led to the consideration of Wisdom lost 20-0.
