Marseille fans also set off fireworks in the direction of the stands designated for the Greek fans, which caused the fans to move from their place before the police threw tear gas in the direction of the Greek supporters.

Dozens of people were arrested, and the police headquarters said Thursday evening that about thirty police officers were injured, most of them with minor injuries.
