Klopp chooses the best coach in the world .. "a dangerous confession"!

German coach Jurgen Klopp said on Friday that his team's next confrontation with Manchester City, the champion and leader of the English Premier League, at the Etihad Stadium next Sunday (19:30 Emirates time) will be enjoyable, regardless of its outcome.

And the outcome of the match may largely determine the destination of the championship title, as the victory of leaders City will widen the difference between it and direct supplements Liverpool to four points before the last seven rounds of the season, while Liverpool will rise to the top if it wins over its host.

Klopp said in a press conference: "I expect a good match. I know that this does not happen often in the confrontations between the big teams. But the history of our confrontations with City indicates that there is often fun because of the desire of both teams to do so."

The German coach added, "If we win, we will excel by two points. If we lose, we will be behind by four points. This is a very important match. And it will remain an important match even if the difference between us and them is 14 or 15 points."

City and Liverpool have dominated the Premier League for the past five seasons, and Klopp said this competition had pushed the two teams to raise their level of performance to the next level.

Klopp likened this competition to the rivalry between Swiss tennis stars Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, saying: "I think Nadal and Federer were happy to compete between them. This is how it is in sports. I will not say I thank City for this high level, but it did not harm the development of our team."

Klopp praised City coach Pep Guardiola a lot, describing him as "the best coach in the world. I don't think anyone would oppose me."

Klopp confirmed that his team will play the match with a full squad.

Liverpool will seek to achieve the first victory at the Etihad Stadium in the league since 2015 in Sunday's match.

Liverpool have not won in the last four matches with City.
