The Japan Football Association confiscated this match before the club, saying that a former officer of the Suzuka Point Getters of the soccer JFL had instructed the players to intentionally lose in the final league match held in November. We imposed a fine of 5 million yen on it.

The problem was the final match of the JFL league, where Point Getters and Sony Sendai played against each other on November 29, and there was a possibility that the other three teams could be promoted to J3 depending on the result of this match.

Regarding this, the Japan Football Association and JFL were investigating the facts on the suspicion that there was a fraud that affected the results.

As a result of the investigation, at a meeting held the day before the match, a former club officer demanded that the players "defeat not to be promoted to another team in the same area" and "a foul to intentionally concede a goal". It turned out that he gave specific instructions to several people who participated in the game, such as "and give a penalty kick."

The club withdrew due to the player's opposition to such a request, and entered the match with a pledge to "fight openly".

The Point Getters lost 0 to 1 in this match, but as a result of the investigation, there was no indication that they had intentionally lost the match.

Based on this, the Disciplinary Committee of the Japan Football Association told the former officer that the words and actions of the former officer correspond to "acts that unreasonably affect and manipulate the progress and results of the match," which is set as the standard of disciplinary action. We have imposed a ban on related activities for two years.

We also imposed a three-month ban on team owners and a one-month ban on the president of the operating company.

Then, with this match as a forfeit match, the Point Getters lost 0 to 3 and the club was fined 5 million yen.

JFL Katsuyoshi Kuwahara "Never forgiven"

Katsuyoshi Kuwahara, President of the JFL, said, "It is an act that betrays the trust of society as a whole and is absolutely unacceptable. It is important to cherish and play a game that will satisfy you. If you are a person who causes trouble to everyone who supports you, it will lead to losing the significance of our existence. Again, JFL We will do our best to raise the awareness of each and every person involved. "
