Al-Ahly of Egypt, the defending champion, will clash with Moroccan Raja Casablanca in three strong Arab matches in the quarter-finals of the African Champions League, after the draw in Cairo today, Tuesday.

Al-Ahly, the winner of the title in the last two editions and the holder of the record for ten titles in the competition, will host the first leg in the middle of this month, and will play the return in Casablanca a week later in the stronghold of the African champion three times, the last of which was in 1999.

The winner will meet Algeria's ES Setif, the two-time champion, or Tunisia's Esperance, which has five titles.

Algeria's CR Belouizdad will also play Morocco's two-time champion Wydad Casablanca.

The winner will face Petro Atletico of Angola or Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa, the 2016 champion.
