The last time the teams met in Ängelholm, Oskarshamn managed to shock Rögle and win the first quarter with the odd goal.

But tonight, Rögle connected early an iron grip on match three in front of the home crowd and won 4-1.

Ted Brithén opened the scoring in the first period through a shot from the blue line and early in the second period they expanded twice in powerplay.

"A stable victory"

Lucas Ekeståhl Jonsson could first send in a wrist shot from outside behind an obscure Tim Juel and just a few minutes later Oskar Stål Lyrenäs played until Valtteri Kemiläinen who put 3-0.

Before the end of the period, both Rögle had found the net again and Oskarshamn reduced to 4-1.

But Oskarshamn did not come any closer than that and Rögle now leads the quarter-final series 2-1.

- We are happy with our start.

We were ready to compete.

It was a stable victory, says Cam Abbott to C More.
