Swiatek won the WTA tournament in Indian Wells in March and now followed up with the victory in Miami.

This means that the Polish team managed a so-called "Sunshine double" after winning the tournaments, which are located in California and Florida, one after the other.

Against Naomi Osaka it was even in the first set.

Swiatek managed to break Osaka's serve to 3-2 and eventually won the first set 6-4.

And in others it was no talk.

Swiatek was dominant and won it clearly with 6-0.

However, Naomi Osaka was not too disappointed afterwards.

- I'm not as disappointed as I normally am.

Normally I would almost cry in the locker room but now I feel quite calm, Osaka says according to Sky Sports and continues:

- I feel that I want to do better.

I just want to get back in training and hopefully win a tournament next time.

With the double WTA victories, Swiatek will now take over the position as world number one after Ashleigh Barty announced in March that she will quickly end her career.
