When the teams last met in a training match for a couple of weeks, it was Sirius who secured a convincing victory, 4-1.

But in the first Allsvenskan match of the season, the home team was initially not as confident - but then managed to turn the deficit into a victory when Christian Kouakou decided with five minutes left of regular time.

- It's fantastic, says Kouakou in Discovery.

Engblom nodded in

It was Sundsvall, without the star Linus Hallenius with a cruciate ligament injury, who surprised by taking the lead in the 23rd minute.

Then the guests had taken advantage of a corner and team captain Pontus Engblom could easily nod in the ball that was played forward by Pontus Silfver.

And they kept the lead until the break.

But not without Sirius missing out on a couple of goal chances, where, among others, Moustafa Zeidan shot both outside and in the post.

With him from the first half, the home team received only three yellow cards.

- It is a good first half, states Pontus Engblom during the break in Discovery.

He continues:

- They get frustrated and do not find the surfaces on us.

"Even match overall"

But the equalizer was a fact when Aron Bjarnason hit right from the right edge shortly after the second half started - and Sirius was back in the match.

The Uppsala team took increasing control of the game and in the end it was the goal machine Christian Kouakou, with eleven goals scored already during the pre-season, who had to decide for the home team after a play by Kevin Wright.

- We do not get as much control over the match picture as in the first, says Sundsvall's Pontus Silfver in Discovery.

- But I think it is an even match overall.

Next, another newcomer, Värnamo, is waiting for Sirius, while Gif Sundsvall meets Hammarby.
