Last year's Allsvenskan season was not entirely without problems for Bajen.

The Stockholm club's goal was to achieve a European place, but in the end they finished fifth.

This year, Bajen hopes to reach higher.

- It is reasonable that the supporters have high expectations of Hammarby and we will do everything to try to achieve them.

We will first try to win the first match - and then the second.

Then we will see what it looks like in nine months.

But we need to find stability in our performance and find the capacity we have to perform, says coach Marti Cifuentes to SVT Sport.

"Will not affect"

The new head coach joined the club late in the pre-season.

But he believes that the time together with the team has been sufficient.

- I do not think it will affect at all.

I've been here now for a number of weeks and the guys are doing a great job.

Ahead of the season, Hammarby has recruited players such as Loret Sadiku, Dennis Collander and Nahir Besara.

The latter lowered Elfsborg in the Swedish Cup and pushed Bajen to the final.

"The whole club persuaded him"

About Cifuente's significance in Besara's choice to sign for Bajen?

- I think the whole club persuaded him and not just me.

He is a fantastic player and he will contribute with his experience and his quality.

Which team will be the best in town?

- Hopefully we.
