The draw for the first round (group stage) of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, which was held today, Friday, in the Qatari capital, Doha, resulted in the following groups:

  • Group A: Qatar, Ecuador, Senegal and the Netherlands.

  • Group B: England, Iran and the United States of America the winner of the European play-off (Wales, Scotland or Ukraine).

  • Group C: Argentina, Saudi Arabia, Mexico and Poland.

  • Group D: France and the winner of the international supplement (UAE, Australia or Peru), Denmark and Tunisia.

  • Group E: Spain, the winner of the international play-off (New Zealand or Costa Rica), Germany and Japan.

  • Group F: Belgium, Canada, Morocco and Croatia.

  • Group G: Brazil, Serbia, Switzerland and Cameroon.

  • Group H: Portugal, Ghana, Uruguay and South Korea
