Christian Eriksen's return to the Danish national team jersey has been a great success.

On Saturday, the 30-year-old was substituted in the training match against the Netherlands to standing ovations and became the goal scorer after only two minutes.

Today, Eriksen was back at the Park in Copenhagen for the first time since the cardiac arrest during this summer's European Championships.

Eriksen got the chance in the starting eleven against Serbia and led the Danish team out on the field to a loud cheer.

And it would be a special return to the Danish national arena.

After 57 minutes, Eriksen sent a free kick in high over the penalty box.

Eriksen's goal was Denmark's third and final goal in the 3-0 victory.

He was substituted in the 80th minute.
