Sweden had won nine of the last ten World Cup finals ahead of today's final against Norway.

And in the final they showed no mercy and won 12-0, in a match that was actually decided already at half time.

- The gold tastes good, it's so much fun, says Tilda Ström to SVT Sport.

Purposeful half

Norway stood up well initially.

Until the 17th minute when Sweden took the lead.

A left corner from Emelie Åkerlund ended up with captain Matilda Svenler - who nicely placed the 1-0 goal.

Her fourth goal in the World Cup.

But it did not end there for the Swedish part.

Five minutes later, Moa Friman released Tilda Ström, who could masterfully set her eleventh World Cup goal and Sweden's second in the match.

"Collapses"

Norway then did not have much to oppose.

Moa Friman made both 3-0 and 4-0 in a short time.

- Norway is collapsing in the last seconds, these are the goals that will probably decide the final, says commentator Chris Härenstam.

At half time, the score was 6-0.

A result that Norway could have polished after a couple of good chances and a missed penalty.

- We make a good effort.

We have received six balls so there is nothing to complain about, says Sweden's Moa Friman at half time.

Fourth straight gold

In the second half, Sweden expanded its lead.

Tilda Ström became a five-goal shooter after making 7-0 in the middle of the half.

When the referee blew off the match, it was clear that Sweden won 12-0 and secured the tenth World Cup gold, of which the fourth in a row.

- Sweden are completely superior in the final, states Chris Härenstam at the final signal.
