Cairo -

The performance of the Egyptian national team against its Senegalese counterpart, in the first leg of the final stage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, on Friday evening, sparked a wide discussion among the observers.

But the unconvincing performance of the "Pharaohs" was not the only thing that sparked controversy, but the sides of the Cairo Stadium witnessed more than one incident that did not appear to viewers, but it aroused the interest of followers through social networking sites.

The famous businessman Naguib Sawiris, the former Egyptian national team star Magdy Abdel Ghani, and the VIP hall in the stadium were the heroes of 3 incidents that kept the Egyptians away from the team's performance.

Egypt won 1-0 in the second meeting between the two teams within 6 weeks, after Sadio Mane's companions beat the "Pharaohs" on penalties in the African Nations Cup final in Cameroon earlier this year, and Mohamed Salah (Many's colleague) was credited with achieving the first victory. Yesterday, Friday, this time, when his crossbar hit the foot of Senegal defender Salio Sis and entered the net.

Sawiris distributes the money

After the end of the match, the communication sites witnessed the spread of a video clip of Sawiris in the stands distributing bags. Some sites and accounts claimed that he was distributing “dollars” to the fans.

While some saw distributing money in this way as an insult to the Egyptian people, some denied that a businessman with the mentality of Sawiris would distribute money to people in this way.

A clip of Naguib Sawiris while deducting money from the audience. I see it as a very insulting scene, literally, I swear to God...

I swear to God, it is surprising that there were people who believed that Naguib Sawiris could distribute money at all😂 If he was so stupid

The person who is most keen on money to the point of being stingy is the very rich person… This is my response to what says Naguib Sawiris was throwing money on the stands… I want to tell you that the Bash-Mohandes is inside by invitation, even the ticket is not bought……

Indeed, Sawiris denied distributing any money, in a tweet on his Twitter account, saying, "The one who was distributing money in the match would be afraid to sleep and dream again. I was distributing encouragement balloons to the team that makes a sound... and thank God we won."

The one who was the same that I would be distributing money in the match.. he was afraid to sleep and dream again..

Magdy Abdel Ghani's anger

Former Football Association member Abdul Ghani was the hero of another incident that sparked controversy, as the pioneers of the communication sites shared a video clip of the former national team star in front of the stadium gates, pushing one of the workers who refused to enter the car and asked him to wait a little.

The former football star's reaction to the simple security employee angered the pioneers of the communication sites, who denounced Abdul Ghani's behavior and launched a severe attack on him.

An ordinary overbearing security individual, you gain strength against him, but if someone is sacked, you stand before him attention and call him

The scene of Captain Magdy Abdel Ghani's assault on the security guard in Cairo Stadium is a humiliating scene for every Egyptian citizen and confirms the mental image of Captain Magdy Abdel Ghani among the Egyptian football fans

Captain Magdy Abdel-Ghani made a statement explaining the reasons for his abuse of the security personnel, saying that he spoke to him in a manner inappropriate for his age and history.

Do your age and history allow you, when you are treated inappropriately, that you act in a manner that indicates bullying and prolongation?

Every one of you tells you that I gave to the country a lot, and took how many, Captain?!

For his part, Abdel-Ghani issued a statement on his official page, in which he said that he had a permit to enter the stadium, given the large distance between the gate and the runway, especially since he had recently undergone joint surgery and was not able to walk all this distance.

According to his statement, the former national team star was surprised by one of the stadium workers who refused to enter the car and dealt with him inappropriately, in a manner that was not commensurate with his age, position and history, stressing that he did not intend to offend anyone, but the inappropriate method he found from this employee was shocking to him.

VIP

On the other hand, the appearance of the VIP cabins for the first time after the renovations in the stadiums of Cairo was an event that sparked controversy after the match, with a number of tweeters circulating a video clip showing the luxury of the cabins and another showing the attendees being busy with food at the expense of encouraging the team.

Comments on the videos of the VIP hall varied, while some mocked the luxury that they contained versus what the average fan goes through, some considered the presence of these luxurious fans at the expense of the "real" fans who never stop cheering as a reason for the players not getting enough encouragement.

On the other hand, some denounced the attack on the videos and the mockery of those who appeared in them, and stressed that such booths exist in most of the world's stadiums, and that everyone has the right to attend matches as appropriate for them.
