South Korean swimmer Hwang Seon-woo won the world championship ticket by setting a world record this year in the 200 m following the 100 m freestyle.



Hwang Seon-woo hit the front with a starting gun in the 200m final and continued to widen the gap, taking the first touchpad at 1:45.79.



This year's world record is better than Tokyo Olympic gold medalist Tom Dean and silver medalist Duncan Scott.



Seon-woo Hwang, who became the number one ranking in the season in the 200 m following the 100 m, will challenge for a ticket to the world championship tomorrow (28th) in his final 50 m final.
