It was just a competition this season for Torstein Stenersen who ended his career with today's SM competition.

In the season alone, and the last competition of his career, he won a bronze in the single mixed relay together with Felicia Lindqvist.

- It is perfect, he says to SVT Sport.

- That statistic is probably still 100 percent regarding medals, huh, it was great fun.

Medals are always fun and I felt that I was unsure of the starting line, but once you stand there then you always want to be up there.

The 33-year-old, who competes for Östersund, puts an end to a nearly 20-year career.

- It is mixed feelings.

It has been a long career.

A lot up and a lot down, but this is what I have lived for and done.

What is your best memory?

- I still have to say when we won the World Cup relay in Hochfilzen 2018, there was something special about that day.

It was conditions, weather and wind.

Everything was the same for everyone and everyone did a great job.

It was really cool.
