The Swedish team Calgary leads the NHL's pacific division and made sure to keep the lead against second place Los Angeles in tonight's meeting with Arizona.

After a goalless first period, Calgary got started and scored three goals in just over eight minutes in the middle period.

Elias Lindholm put 2-0 in powerplay with a lightning-fast shot in the left cross, the Swede's 32nd goal of the season.

In the third period, Calgary defender Rasmus Andersson had an impressive one-man performance when he dribbled from the defensive zone through the entire Arizona defense and shot 4-1.

It was the 25-year-old's only fourth goal of the season.

Andersson also got another goal ruled out shortly afterwards, for hitting the puck with the glove.

In the Calgary goal, Jacob Markström got himself trumped when Arizona put 4-2 with less than two minutes left, but the home team did not come closer than that.

Elias Lindholm is with his 32 goals in 12th place in the NHL's total shooting, and is the second best Swede after Nashville's Filip Forsberg, who is up to 36 goals.
