The girls' JVM should actually have been decided in Linköping and Mjölby in January but was moved due to the pandemic.

Now it's clear that the new venue will be Madison, Wisconsin.

It is also clear that Sweden will get Russia's place in the A-group as the Russian team is not allowed to participate due to the war in Ukraine.

Thus, Sweden is already completely ready for the quarter-final games as the first and second in the group go directly to the final at the same time as the third and fourth get to meet the two best placed teams from Group B in the quarter-finals.

In Group A, Sweden, the USA, Canada and Finland play.

In Group B we find the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Switzerland and Germany.

The boys' JVM will be decided in Edmonton between 9-20 August.

Sweden shares a group with the USA, Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

In the second, Canada, Finland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Latvia play.
