It was Adrian Kempe and the talent Quinton Byfield who were the greatest winning architects in LA King's doubles victory.

The Swede opened the scoring after three minutes when he got the puck from the star Anze Kopitar and finished with a nice wrist shot.

Already after ten minutes, the home team led 3-0 and even though Nashville reduced in the second period, they were never close to catching up.

In the final period, Byfield scored two goals and Kempe put his second for the evening in the empty net.

It was the sixth time this season that the Swede scored two goals or more in a match.

He has now been noted for as many as 28 hits this season, which is a personal record by a large margin.

Not since the 2008-2009 season have four NHL Swedes reached 30 goals in one season, but if Kempe manages to score two goals in the remaining 17 games, it will happen this season.

Mika Zibanejad of the New York Rangers, who after tonight stands at 26 goals, can reach 30 goals.

If he does, five Swedes will score 30 goals for the first time since 2006.

Those who have already reached that milestone this season are Filip Forsberg (Nashville), Elias Lindholm (Calgary) and Gabriel Landeskog (Colorado).
