The home team Oskarshamn got off to a tough start in the match.

Even after just over two minutes of play, Emil Lilleberg was sent off for possession.

Then it rattled and Richard Gynge made 1-0 for Växjö, his 22nd goal of the season.

After two periods, it was 3-1 to Växjö, after Patrik Karlkvist sprinkled a puck for the home team.

However, it would be Oskarshamn's only goal for the evening.

Växjö increased their lead directly in the third period and before the match was over, Richard Gynge had scored his second goal of the match.

Ready for the quarterfinals

Olle Lyksell played sideways in numerical superiority and Gynge was able to put the puck in an open goal.

It was his 23rd goal of the season, making him the league's best goal scorer in powerplay.

His two goals tonight were almost identical.

- Today came two fantastic passes, it was just to keep the club in the ice, he says in C more.

The match ended 6-1 to Växjö, which with the victory was ready for the quarterfinals.

Oskarshamn, who have lost nine of the last ten matches, have one last chance on Thursday in the final round to reach the playoffs.

- I will go home and think about how we should deal with it, says Oskarshamn's coach Martin Filander in C more.

Three goals in two games: "Does not excite me"

Richard Gynge scored two goals in the match and was a strong contributor to the victory.

- Really nice, but this is not an easy away match.

- We got off to a good start in the first, but lost it a bit in the second, but it was nice that we could solve it, he says in C more.

In the last two matches he has also scored three goals.

In the past, however, it has been heavier for a period.

- It's nice of course, I have scored a lot of goals throughout my career, have heard about goal drought here or there many times, but I do not get excited unnecessarily.
