Juventus determines its position on Dybala .. Vlahovic "the basis"

The Italian club Juventus will not make a new offer for its Argentine playmaker Paulo Dybala, whose contract with the “old lady” expires next June, a Bianconero official announced on Monday.

Several Italian media quoted Juventus's managing director, Maurizio Arrivabene, as saying that "with the arrival of (Serbian Dusan) Vlahovic (in January), his role is no longer central. It would have been better to take a decision not to renew his contract."

Dybala, 28, joined Juventus in 2015 and was appointed deputy captain of the team at the beginning of the current season, but his numerous absences due to injury affected his performance in the "Old Lady" squad.

Several clubs will be in the race to join the Argentine, including Inter and Atletico Madrid, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
