If Hanna Glas had a sad Tuesday night in Munich, it would have been all the more pleasant for another Swedish national team defender.

Amanda Ilestedt basically made sure on her own that the home team Bayern Munich did not run away goal-oriented during the start of the match.

In the ninth minute, she threw herself forward and stopped a given goal from Bayern's Viviane Asseyi by steering the ball away right in front of the Frenchwoman's feet.

And a few minutes later, Ilestedt stood in the way again when she blocked Klara Bühl's shot from close range.

Historic evening

It was the first time in the club's history that Bayern Munich's women's team was allowed to play at the men's arena Allianz Arena, but when the first onslaught from the home team subsided, it became PSG's match instead.

And above all, it belonged to Marie-Antoinette Katoto.

The French attacking star is only 23 years old but already Paris Saint-Germain's best goal scorer of all time.

And on Tuesday night, two more hits came.

Important reduction

In the 19th minute, she stayed ahead in the mess after a corner and pushed up 1-0 in the net, and in the second half she extended the visitors' lead.

Katoto reached the top of another corner and nodded in 2-0 in the 71st minute, her 22nd goal of the season.

For Bayern Munich, it looked like it would be an evening filled with osis.

Not least Sydney Lohmann had the margins against her when she hit the post twice during the second half.

But the quarter-finals live before the return in Paris next Wednesday, and Bayern can thank Klara Bühl for that.

In the 84th minute, she thundered in a free kick, which fixed the final score to 1-2.
