There was no particularly sharp end to the season for Stina Nilsson.

On Saturday she missed most of all in the hunt start and on Sunday she came last in the mass start.

But the Swede still ended up with a big smile on her face.

During the riot at the mass start in Holmenkollen - where Nilsson celebrated great success as a cross-country skier before - the Norwegian audience showed their appreciation for her.

“A big thank you to all of you who were at Kollen and cheered on me during the last lap.

It was so nice ", the 28-year-old writes on Instagram.

"Such an awesome trip"

She also writes:

“Last in goal, but first to thank all of you who kept your fingers crossed for me this VC season.

It has been such a cool journey ”.

At the beginning of March, Stina Nilsson struck with her first podium place in the World Cup as a biathlete.

She finished third in the sprint in Kontiolahti.
