Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Emil Krafth are suspended on Thursday when Sweden plays the Czech Republic in the World Cup playoffs at Friends arena.

The conditions before the match are simple.

If Sweden loses, the World Cup dream is over, with a victory they play against Poland in a final decisive match for the World Cup place.

Even though Ibrahimovic is not on the pitch, his importance will be great, says Janne Andersson.

- He has an enormous experience.

We lost some experienced players after the European Championships, and only the experiential part before these types of matches is very good to have.

He can be a support and contribute in different ways.

Sees him as a half leader, to push, guide and come up with tips for the younger players.

He has an important role even though he does not play and I have the greatest confidence in him in that role, says Andersson.

Support for Elanga

With his 120 international appearances, 40-year-old Ibrahimovic is much more experienced than his offensive colleagues.

Dejan Kulusevski and Alexander Isak have admittedly been involved for a few years, but there is also a new debutant in Manchester United striker Anthony Elanga.

There, Zlatan Ibrahimovic will play an important role.

- He has been in these matches before when it really comes to the fore.

He can contribute in different ways, partly for Anthony and partly for the others.

As I said, I see him as a half leader.

The attitude and attitude he (Zlatan) has shown towards me and the players has been fantastic.

I'm very glad he's here.

Then we will see afterwards what happens to him.

He is still in a half rehab period.

He has played a few matches but still has half a foot in rehab and half a foot on the pitch, Andersson says.

Whether Zlatan Ibrahimovic may have done his part in the national team in the event of a loss against the Czech Republic is not something the national team captain is thinking about.

- I will not think about anything other than winning on Thursday.

There is no other consequence thinking today, says Andersson.
