This is the second serious incident in a match between the two teams in less than a month.

A match between Gremio and Internacional was canceled moments before it kicked off in February when fans attacked Gremio's bus, which was on its way to the Internacional stadium.

The two teams meet again in the second leg of the semi-finals at Gremio Stadium on Wednesday.
