Surprises in the list of Egypt's national team in preparation for Senegal .. the absence of Al-Ahly's top scorer and the return of the Pyramids star

The Portuguese coach, Carlos Queiroz, the coach of the Egypt national team, announced this evening, Saturday, the list of the Pharaohs, in preparation for the two matches against Senegal, in the final stage of the World Cup Qatar 2022 qualifiers.

The Egyptian team will face its Senegalese counterpart on March 25 in Cairo, and the return match will be held on the 29th of the same month in Senegal.

The selected list was as follows: 

Goalkeepers: Muhammad Al-Shennawi, Muhammad Abu Jabal, Muhammad Sobhi 

. Defense line: Omar Kamal, Yasser Ibrahim, Omar Jaber, Muhammad Abdel-Moneim, Al-Wansh, Mahmoud Alaa, Ayman Ashraf, Ahmed Fattouh.

Midfield: Hamdi Fathi, Donga, Imam Ashour, Amr Al-Sulayya, Mohamed Elneny, Mohamed Magdy Afsha.

Forwards: Mohamed Salah, Ahmed Sayed Zizou, Mostafa Mohamed, Marwan Hamdi, Omar Marmoush, Trezeguet.

The list witnessed the return of Al-Ahly player Mohamed Magdy Afsha, but it was devoid of some names that starred in the last period and some expected their presence, such as Al-Ahly striker Mohamed Sharif, Al-Ahly midfielder Ahmed Abdel-Qader, and the right defender of the Pyramids team Omar Jaber returned to the list after a period of absence, and replaced instead From Al-Ahly player Mohamed Hani injured.
