Al Duhail FC won the Emir of Qatar Football Cup after its big victory over Al Gharafa 5-1 in the final match, today, Friday, at Khalifa Stadium in the Qatari capital, Doha.

Al Duhail advanced with a goal scored by Edmilson Junior in the fifth minute, and Michael Olanga added the second goal in the 18th minute, ending the first half with Al Duhail leading by two clean goals.

In the second half, Al-Moez Ali scored Al Duhail's third goal in the 52nd minute, before Ahmed Alaeddin scored the first goal for Al Gharafa in the 53rd minute, then Ferjani Sassi added Al Duhail's fourth goal in the 58th minute, before Abdul Rahman Mustafa concluded Al Duhail's goals in the 85th minute.

This is Al Duhail's fourth title in this tournament, knowing that Al Sadd is the record holder in terms of the number of titles won with 18 titles.

Al Duhail qualified for this round by defeating Al Sadd 3-2 in the semi-finals, and Al Gharafa qualified for this round by beating Al Wakra 4-1.

Al Duhail finished the Qatari league in second place with 47 points, 5 points behind Al Sadd, who won the title, while Al Gharafa ranked fifth with 30 points.
