On Friday, the indoor world championships in athletics begin in Belgrade and Sweden has sent a squad of 14 athletes.

Most of them have been to championships before, but Kajsa Bergqvist makes her debut in her role as national team captain.

- It feels very good.

In the last few days, it has almost felt like you have to enter and compete yourself.

You've had that adrenaline and the focus.

There is an incredible energy and an incredible charge.

You can not have it better than this as the national team captain, she says.

There have been zero medals two indoor World Cups in a row.

How do you think it will go this time?

- We have very good medal conditions for this indoor WC.

Armand Duplantis is a clear gold favorite in pole vault and we have several more who can fight for medals.

Thobias Montler, Khaddi Sagnia and Fanny Roos above all, but there are several others who on a good day can be involved and fight for advanced positions.

What is the medal goal for?

- I think 2-3 medals is completely realistic.

It can go both better and worse, but I think it is a realistic goal.

Armand Duplantis competes on Sunday, but already on Friday night, among others, long jumper Thobias Montler and shot putter Fanny Roos are chasing medals.
