The Japan Football Association has decided to lift the priority measures such as preventing the spread of the new coronavirus, and the number of spectators in the World Cup Asian final qualifying match between Japan and Vietnam on the 29th of this month in Saitama City. I decided to hold it without setting an upper limit.

Japan will face Vietnam at Saitama Stadium on the 29th of this month as the final match of the group league in the Asian final qualifying for the World Cup Qatar tournament.

Initially, the Japan Football Association, which sponsors the event, had set an upper limit of 20,000 spectators, but in response to the government's decision to lift the priority measures such as spread prevention that had been issued to Saitama Prefecture on the 21st of this month. We have decided to hold the event without setting an upper limit on the number of spectators.

And from the 19th, about 40,000 additional tickets will be sold.

This will allow up to about 60,000 spectators to enter the match on the 29th of this month.

This is the first time that the Japan National Team's match hosted by the Japan Football Association has been held without an upper limit on the number of spectators since it became a corona disaster.
