Her personal indoor record is 6.93, outdoors one centimeter shorter.

This year she has been stable around 6.70, won Swedish Championship gold and three international victories.

- Definitely I would have liked longer hope.

That I won those competitions and that I could go there and deliver even though I was tired, I take that with me.

It shows that there is strength to be gained, says Khaddi Sagnia.

To find the right way before the World Cup, she jumped from the major competition World Athletics Indoor Tour, after winning the same series of competitions in Berlin, Dortmund and Torún.

Backed the band - took a mini break

- I was tired after the Swedish Championships, and in connection with that I felt awkward.

Then it was no idea to go and compete there and maybe get a bad feeling and not get the preparations you need for the World Cup, says Sagnia.

Instead, she took it easy at home.

- There was a lot of rest, massage and drinking tea.

And then get started again slowly but surely.

Do you feel that the break has had the effect you were hoping for?

- Yes, but in fact, it definitely has.

The last training session with long jump she did with about a week left until the WC.

Since then, she has worn technology, running and strength.

Right now with a high grade, both by herself and coach Katrin Klaup.

"Good with recovery"

Two jumpers in the world have jumped around 6.90 this year.

To reach a medal, or top-six, as at the indoor WC 2018, she most likely needs to reach further than the 6.70 she has jumped so far this year.

After the calmer period she has behind her, she is not entirely sure where she stands.

- It's good with recovery, but you get a little satisfied.

I can only hope that it will be good.

And I definitely would not have gone there if I had not felt that I have something to give, so I have something anyway.
