"Talked through the tactics"

One of the pre-favorites Elliot Giles, from the UK, was missing after injuring himself in the warm-up.

He should have run in Kramer's heat.

- I think he warmed up, but then he did not show up.

I just took note and talked through the tactics again, says Kramer.

Aiming for a medal

The final will be decided on Saturday.

That's where Kramer avoids one of the worst competitors now that Giles is missing.

- That was what (final) I came here for.

There are eight of them there and I am aiming for one of the first three places, he says.
