Last year, Luleå won Swedish Championship gold in ice hockey, but this season it looked as if the team would be knocked out already in the quarterfinals by Djurgården - but Luleå came again and forced a third and decisive match.
In the third and decisive match, it was Luleå who took the lead after just over 10 minutes, but there were no more goals in the first period.
Instead, it was Djurgården who was able to equalize to 1-1 through Fanny Rask eight minutes into the second period.
But then Luleå came back in the match and before the third period they had the lead with 2-1.
This continued until the final signal went, but Djurgården did not come closer than 3-2, which was the final result.
Thus, Luleå went on to the semifinals where they will face Linköping.
