And she continued, "The Al Wahda Club Company is keen to remedy the situation of congestion on social media platforms, and to preserve the gains of "El Clasico" and the positive sporting atmosphere away from objectionable behaviors and appearances."

"Emirates Today" had revealed, through a source, that Al Wahda Club submitted a complaint to the disciplinary committee of the Football Association, in which it demanded that three Al Ain club players be punished: goalkeeper Khaled Issa, Moroccan player Sufian Rahimi and Nasser Al Shukaili after the riots that accompanied the two teams' match, For its part, the Disciplinary Committee referred the complaint to Al Ain Club, to decide on it officially during its upcoming meeting next week.

It is noteworthy that the Disciplinary Committee had punished goalkeeper Khaled Issa, Sufyan Rahimi and Nasser Al-Shukaili by warning them and fining each of them an amount of 25 thousand dirhams for not showing sportsmanship, while it punished Al Wahda player Ismail Matar with two matches and a fine of 200 thousand dirhams for assaulting the opposing team player without a ball, and the suspension of Al Wahda player Khamis Ismail two matches and a fine of 90,000 dirhams for attempting to attack the player of the opposing team, and Al Ain club player Eric Jurgens was suspended for three matches and fined 150,000 dirhams for assaulting one of the auxiliary elements on the field (a security person). Accompanying a team for four matches and fined it 75,000 dirhams for participating with the aforementioned player and assaulting Al Wahda fans, and attempting to attack the club’s technical staff.
