On March 13, the closing day of the Beijing Winter Paralympics, the Beijing Winter Olympics Organizing Committee held a press conference on the summary of the Beijing Winter Paralympic Games. Zhao Weidong, spokesman for the Beijing Winter Olympics Organizing Committee, introduced that there were media reporters and broadcasters during the Winter Olympics. 9,388 people participated in the report, and the number of people involved reached nearly 2,900 during the Winter Paralympics.
During the Beijing Winter Olympics and Paralympics, the main media center held a total of 20 press conferences and 22 media briefings, and each non-competition venue organized 182 press conferences, media briefings and press conferences.
It also organized 70 interviews of various types including collective interviews, accepted nearly 15,000 interview applications, and provided information and news services to more than 22,000 people.
Zhao Weidong thanked Chinese and foreign media reporters for telling the moving stories of the Winter Olympics in a timely and accurate manner.
