Announcing the Arab League for Statistics and Documentation for Football

The Arab Football Association for Statistics and Documentation, based in the UAE, announced its official announcement, a year and a half after its establishment.

The association consists of 31 members from various Arab countries who are researchers and specialists in the scientific documentation of football.

Mansour Abdullah, Vice-Chairman of the Statistics and Documentation Committee of the Emirates Football Association, was elected Chairman of the Association’s Board of Directors, Khaled Abu Al-Oyoun from Egypt was elected as Vice-Chairman, and the membership of each of Imad Al-Kilani from Tunisia, Ali Al-Badrawi from Iraq, Salem Saeed from Sudan, and Amjad Abu Gad Allah is from Palestine, and Hussein Bu Chicken is from Libya.

In a statement, the Association confirmed that the decision to establish it came due to the need of the Arab sports arena to document the history of football in all Arab countries, pay attention to statistical activity, and publish the work of specialists through the official platforms of the Association while ensuring their copyrights.

The Association includes members from various Arab countries who are researchers and specialists in scientific documentation of football, and its goals have been determined by chronological documentation of the history of Arab football on a scientific basis, recording records in various fields related to football, contributing to studies and research related to it, and crowning the diligent elements of the game their activities and their career on scientific grounds.

The Association Council elected for a period of two years will be responsible for drawing up general policies for the Association's activity, approving regulations, developing sources of income, and presenting and discussing the annual report of activities.
