Acla, established in 2004, is a large sports marketing company that started out as a professional baseball broadcasting rights sales agency for the KBO and has now grown into an operator of 6 Sportiv channels that broadcast various overseas contents such as the Premier League as well as professional baseball.

The police, who have been investigating the allegations of Aclara's lobbying towards the KBO since last year, seized and searched Aclara this morning (14th).

The police, who have been tracking the account of CEO A, are suspecting that CEO A may have embezzled company money and used it as a lobbying fund for the KBO, which has the right to broadcast professional baseball.

In fact, while the police are known to have secured evidence that Aklar remitted a total of 200 million won to relatives of KBO officials, the police believe that CEO A's embezzlement amounted to about 1 billion won.

It is known that Representative A is denying all allegations.

The police are also expected to launch an investigation into the KBO based on the results of the search and seizure.
